A few of my favorite wedding venues! { Portland Wedding Photographer } New Post!

I hate to play favorites, because it’s kind of like asking a parent who their favorite kid is. It can’t be done! But I’ve picked out a handful that truly do stand out from the rest…After all there are so many gorgeous wedding venues in the Portland Metro and surrounding areas.

First on the list…

Ski Bowl, Government Camp, Mt. Hood, Oregon

I’ll let the pictures do the talking, but this venue is hard to beat! The views are breathtaking and the stunning antique warming hut is the perfect accompaniment to the majestic mountain which fills the sky! And an added bonus… your guests can take the chair lift up to the ceremony spot and the alpine slide back down!

Bridal Veil Lakes, Bridal Veil, Oregon

… the stunning beauty of this gem is hard to beat! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that shows off the best of the beauty of the Pacific Northwest this is it! Lush green forests surround a serene lake… let your guests explore the grounds and have fun with the canoes. Top off the evening with a stunning sunset overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. And just a short half hour drive from downtown Portland. Wowza!

Next up…

The Griffin House

This is a newer venue in the Columbia River Gorge and WOWZA!! You cannot find a better view anywhere! To quote from their website, the Griffin House is on “a secluded acre plus, on the lofty cliffs that form the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge. This classic home and gorgeous grounds feel swept up, yet stand solidly, commanding breathtaking, year round views ~ widely acclaimed for spectacular sunsets, osprey and bald eagle sightings.” And it’s not hype! This place truly is unique and in a word… ‘spectacular’!!
